The Shaster Foundation, based in Cape Town, is a humanitarian organisation staffed by people who care passionately about South Africa, her people, poverty alleviation, preserving traditional culture, protecting the environment, and instilling respect for all Life.

Permaculture, sustainability and conservation of natural resources form the basis from which we work. Our main focus is the Indlovu Project, funded through the tourist accomodation and volunteer programmes that we run from our community centre.
